Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday unveiled the logo of the ‘Swami Chatbot,’ an AI-powered assistant designed to improve the pilgrimage experience for devotees visiting Sabarimala. The chatbot will be deployed by the Pathanamthitta district administration with the aim of providing vital information to Ayyappa devotees throughout the pilgrimage season.

The unveiling ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s office and was attended by Devaswom Special Secretary T.V. Anupama, CM's Officer on Special Duty S. Karthikeyan, and Pathanamthitta District Collector S. Prem Krishnan.

The ‘Swami Chatbot’ will allow pilgrims to access essential information through their smartphones. The digital assistant will provide real-time updates on pooja timings, details about transportation facilities such as railway and airport services, and other relevant travel information. The service will be available in multiple languages, including Malayalam, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, making it accessible to a wide range of devotees.

The 'Swami Chatbot' aims to ensure a seamless and hassle-free pilgrimage experience for Ayyappa devotees, making it easier to access essential services and information. The initiative, a collaboration with the Muthoot Group, is expected to contribute to a safer and more comfortable pilgrimage season at Sabarimala this year.
