Los Angeles: Hollywood star Robert Pattinson is set to reunite with acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan for his next highly anticipated, closely guarded project at Universal Pictures. This marks the duo’s second collaboration following the success of Nolan's 2020 film 'Tenet'.

Pattinson will join an all-star ensemble cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya, according to Variety. The production is expected to begin in the first half of 2025, and it will serve as the follow-up to Nolan’s Oscar-winning drama 'Oppenheimer'.

In addition to his reunion with Nolan, Pattinson has a busy year ahead. He is set to reprise his role as the iconic DC superhero in the sequel to 'The Batman' (2022), being developed by Warner Bros. He is also starring in 'Primetime', an A24 thriller inspired by the reality show 'To Catch a Predator', which will mark the directorial debut of filmmaker Lance Oppenheim.

Furthermore, Pattinson’s upcoming project, 'Mickey 17', a sci-fi comedy directed by Bong Joon-Ho, is set to release on April 18, 2025. The highly anticipated film from the director of 'Parasite' boasts a $150 million production budget and will surely come with significant promotional commitments for the actor.

Pattinson previously worked with Nolan on the 2020 sci-fi thriller 'Tenet', a time-bending film that became a pivotal project for the director, as it was released during the COVID-19 pandemic. This film marked the end of Nolan’s long association with Warner Bros., as tensions arose over the studio’s handling of the release, leading the director to take his future projects to Universal, including 'Oppenheimer'.
