As summer approaches and temperatures soar across the UAE, several of Dubai's popular outdoor attractions have begun their annual closure cycle, with some shutting down for routine maintenance and others undergoing renovations.

Dubai Garden Glow, a family-favorite destination featuring illuminated art installations and themed zones, concluded its 10th season on April 6. The attraction had reopened last September and is expected to return later this year.

The Dubai Fountain, a landmark showpiece near Burj Khalifa, closed on April 19 for extensive upgrades. The renovation aims to enhance its light, sound, and water choreography systems. As part of the closure, the popular *abra* boat rides have also been suspended. The fountain is slated to reopen by October 2025.

Community favorite Ripe Market, which offers fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local fashion, is set to wrap up its season on May 11, 2025.

The same day will also mark the seasonal end of Global Village’s 29th edition, giving visitors a final window to explore its multicultural pavilions and entertainment offerings before the summer break.

Meanwhile, Dubai Miracle Garden, renowned for its expansive floral displays, will remain open until June 15, while Dubai Safari Park will shut its gates for the season on June 1.

These temporary closures are part of Dubai’s strategy to preserve its outdoor landmarks and ensure enhanced visitor experiences during the cooler months. Most attractions are expected to resume operations in the latter part of the year.
