Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City, also known as Misk City, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Samsung Electronics to advance collaboration in smart city technology, sustainability, and youth empowerment. The agreement was formalized on Monday during the Misk Global Forum in Riyadh, which concludes on Tuesday.

David Henry, CEO of Misk City, and Hendrick Lee, President of Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia, signed the memorandum. Henry highlighted the partnership as a key milestone aligned with Misk City's strategic vision to foster innovation and creativity among Saudi youth. He emphasized the value of working with Samsung to create a dynamic, forward-thinking environment that sets a benchmark for smart city development.

Lee noted that Samsung’s collaboration with Misk City reflects a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability. He underscored the goal of developing transformative technologies to enhance urban living while empowering future generations through advanced technological solutions.

As part of the agreement, both parties will collaborate on training programs aimed at building the skills of Saudi youth to support smart city advancements. These programs will be conducted within Misk City, further enriching the city's role as a hub for innovation and development.

Additionally, Samsung is exploring the possibility of establishing a showroom in Misk City to display its cutting-edge AI-powered smart technologies. The proposed showroom would provide visitors with an immersive experience of smart home solutions and a glimpse into future technological innovations.

This partnership represents a significant step in aligning Saudi Arabia’s technological ambitions with global standards while fostering a culture of innovation among the nation's youth.
