Mansoor Palloor’s new book released at Sharjah International Book Festival

Sharjah: The book ‘Malayalam Cinema Bhavukathvathile Parinama Dishakal’ by political observer, actor, writer, and film producer Mansoor Palloor was officially unveiled at the Sharjah International Book Festival.

Veteran actor Ravindran released the book, handing over a copy to MCA Nasser, Head of MediaOne Middle East.

The event was graced by prominent personalities, including senior journalist P.P. Saseendran, Safari Group Managing Director Zainul Abid, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary K.N. Jayaraj, and noted radio artist K.P.K. Vengara, who shared their thoughts during the occasion.

Actor Ravindran praised Mansoor Palloor’s work as a profound exploration of Malayalam cinema, calling it a must-read for film enthusiasts. In his address, Mansoor Palloor revealed that his passion for films and the experiences he gained from studying cinema inspired him to pen the book.

He also announced that Monica: Oru AI Story, a groundbreaking film in which he played a significant role as both scriptwriter and actor, will soon be available on the Kerala government’s OTT platform, C Space.

The event was skillfully moderated by Nasser Beypore, while Prathapan Thayat of Haritham Books expressed gratitude in his vote of thanks.

Mansoor Palloor’s book promises to be a comprehensive and insightful journey into the evolution of emotions in Malayalam cinema, and its release has added another feather to his illustrious cap.
