Qualcomm launches AI-powered Snapdragon X platform in India

Strengthening its Copilot+ PC leadership, the company introduced the new platform to make AI PCs more accessible and affordable.
The Snapdragon X platform delivers an impressive 45 Tera Operations per Second (TOPS) of AI performance. Qualcomm stated that the launch of the first PC powered by Snapdragon X in India will bring Copilot+ PC experiences to more users, offering advanced on-device AI capabilities, exceptional performance, and multi-day battery life.
"As AI becomes essential in daily life, we see a great opportunity to transform the PC industry," said Kedar Kondap, senior vice president and general manager of compute and gaming at Qualcomm. "In India, the Snapdragon X platform will expand our reach, making AI-powered computing more affordable and accessible for all, significantly boosting productivity and user satisfaction."
Designed for mass adoption, the Snapdragon X-powered PCs are set to redefine the AI PC landscape in India. The devices will deliver premium experiences in a sleek, lightweight, and highly portable design, ensuring prolonged battery life and exceptional performance.
With an integrated power-efficient GPU, Snapdragon X supports dynamic graphics, making it ideal for tasks such as presentations, web browsing, and content streaming.
According to Savi Soin, senior vice president and president of Qualcomm India, the platform will revolutionize the accessibility of Copilot+ PCs in the country. "With Snapdragon X, we are not just continuing our legacy of innovation but also making advanced AI technology more accessible to everyone," he said.
