New Delhi: Apple has officially released the iOS and iPadOS 18.2 public beta updates, introducing exciting new features such as an AI-powered emoji generator, ChatGPT integration with Siri, and enhanced visual search capabilities using iPhone 16 cameras.

These Apple Intelligence features, which were previously available to developers, are now accessible to public beta users. This includes tools like Genmoji, an AI emoji generator, and the Image Playground, which allows users to create images through prompts. ChatGPT is also integrated with Siri, offering users the ability to write text, answer questions, generate images, and much more, without the need for an account.

With the new update, users can ask Siri to retrieve information from apps or perform actions directly on their screen. The 'Image Playground' tool gives users the ability to create images via simple prompts, while Genmoji lets them design personalized emojis. Additionally, iPhone 16 users can use the new Camera Control button to launch Visual Intelligence, enabling real-time identification of objects and places through the camera lens.

Apple also released public betas of iPadOS 18.2, macOS Sequoia 15.2, and tvOS 18.2.

In addition to these features, iOS 18.1 introduced AI-powered Writing Tools and notification summaries, further enhancing the capabilities of Apple Intelligence. This intelligent system, powered by Apple silicon, helps users refine language, take actions across apps, and simplify tasks, all while prioritizing privacy.

Looking ahead, Apple Intelligence will soon support more languages, with English (India) set to be added by April next year.
