Oscar, the exclusive electronics brand of Video Home & Electronics Centre Group (Jumbo Electronics), reaffirmed its regional growth and dealer partnerships at the OSCAR Meet - 2025. The event highlighted the brand’s expansion and recognised outstanding retail and business partners.

Launched in 2009, Oscar has become a trusted name in Qatar, with its products available in major hypermarkets, independent retailers, and online platforms like Jumbo Souq. Expanding beyond Qatar in 2021, the brand entered Oman, followed by Saudi Arabia in 2023 and the UAE in 2024. It is set to establish its presence in Bahrain and Kuwait by the second half of 2025.

At the OSCAR Meet - 2025, Sajed Jassim Mohammad Sulaiman, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Video Home & Electronic Centre, outlined the company's strategic vision, emphasising its goal of becoming the most trusted PAN Gulf electronics and home appliance brand. Director & CEO C.V. Rappai reiterated the brand’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable home appliances and electronics.

The event also honoured top-performing dealers for 2024. In Qatar, Lulu Hypermarket was recognised as the Regional Esteemed Partner, while Safari Hypermarket and Saudia Hypermarket received awards for Best Performance in Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Television categories, respectively. Ansar Gallery won the Sales Excellence Award, and Rawabi Hypermarket received the Elite Growth Partner Award.

Family Food Centre was recognised for Best Performance in Laundry, and Paris Hypermarket for Best Performance in Independent Retail. The Valued Partner Awards (B2B) 2024 were presented to National Engineering & Construction Co. W.L.L, Q.Tech Engineering W.L.L, Ezdan Real Estate, Empower Trading, and DHL, with DHL receiving the Valued Regional Logistics Partner Award. In Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Ramadhan from Al Toufeeq Trading was honoured with the Best Performance Award - KSA 2024.

With its continued expansion and dealer support, Oscar aims to strengthen its market presence and customer trust across the Gulf region.
