The viral video is believed to be from a Uttar Pradesh school, as a social media user has mentioned the state police in their comment requesting action against the teacher for his unmatching cruelty. The viral video shows the teacher grabbing the student by the neck, shoving him against a wall, and hitting him several times.
User @Pritamkrbauddh shared the video and tagged the Uttar Pradesh Police while sharing the video. “These monsters charge exorbitant fees and abuse children to a great extent. Sir @Uppolice @DGP, please find out where the video is from,” he wrote.
The post now has more than 500,000 views, 700,000 likes, and more than 100 comments, and a lot of users are showing their anger and demanding action.
A user commented, "How can a teacher touch a student? If he has some problem, can inform parents," when another wrote, “This is the security in Yogi government, if you are not able to keep children safe then how will you keep the state safe," slamming the BJP-ruled Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government.
"The brutes charge exorbitant fees and abuse the children to a great extent," a third user commented.
The Free Press Journal called the teacher’s act brutal and reported that people have heavily trashed him on Twitter after watching the video. Some of those in attendance were calling for authorities to hold him accountable after an investigation, as they pushed for stricter regulations in school to better protect students.
