New Delhi: Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have knocked down houses of 10 local terrorists over the past six days amid the continuing crackdown against the vicious terror attack in Pahalgam.

The houses razed belong to terrorists including Lashkar-e-Taiba's Adil Hussain Thoker, Zakir Ahmad Ganai, Amir Ahmad Dar and Asif Sheikh, Shahid Ahmad Kuttey, and Ahsan ul Haq Amir, NDTV reported.

Also, houses of Jaish-e-Mohammed's Amir Nazeer Wani, Jameel Ahmad Sher Gojri, The Resistance Front's Adnan Safi Dar and Farooq Ahmad Tedwa have been demolished.

It is reported citing security officials that Ahsan ul Haq recently ‘infiltrated’ into the Valley after having trained in Pakistan.

While Zakir Ahmad Ganie has long been under security surveillance for his reported involvement in terror activities, Lashkar commander Shahid Ahmad Kuttay was accused of having involved in anti-national activities.

Adil Hussain Thoker is suspected to have directly involved in terrorists attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists.

Officials reportedly said that Farooq Ahmad Tedwa was operating from Pakistan.

The demolitions of terrorists’ houses, according to a police spokesperson, was part of dismantling terror ecosystem in the region.

Tuesday’s attack on tourists in Pahalgam caused widespread outrage alongside leading India to take countermeasures.

It is reported that at least five terrorists carried out the cold-blooded attack in which a local pony ride operator was also killed at Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam.

The survivors recounted that the terrorists asked victims’ religion and shot them upon they said they were Hindus.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led India’s strong response to vicious attack saying that the country will identify, track and punish every terrorist.

‘From Kargil to Kanyakumari, there is grief and rage. This attack was not just on innocent tourists; the country's enemies have shown the audacity to attack India's soul,’ the Prime Minister was quoted as saying.

Adding further, PM Modi announced that the terrorist involved in the attack and others who plotted will get ‘a punishment they cannot imagine’.
